What If Money Was No Object? (And Why That Changes Everything)

What If Money Was No Object? (And Why That Changes Everything)

Hey, what's going on? It's Payton. I'm sitting out on my porch today—it’s a beautiful day—and I just wanted to talk about something that’s been on my mind.

What if, hypothetically, you no longer had to worry about money?

I mean it. What if every need was met? Food, shelter, everything. You'd never have to work again. What would you do with your life?

I had to really sit with that question the other day, thinking about where I want to go, how I want to live, and what I want to do. If money was truly no object, how would I live?

It shifts your thinking when you seriously ask yourself that. And just so we're clear—I'm not there yet. I still need to earn an income, I still need to work. But one day, with the right stewardship, smart investing, and leveraging the talents God’s given me, I believe I’ll get there.

It’s like my dad—he’s about to retire. And now he’s asking, "What am I going to do all day?" Luckily, he’s got a farm full of cows, dogs, and chickens. He’s got stuff to do. But most people? Most people don’t have that.

So let’s go deeper: What’s the actual point of your life?

Are you here to chase material pleasures? Dopamine hits? Scroll, scroll, scroll… snort, swipe, repeat. Is that it? Is that what life’s about?

Let me reintroduce myself. I’m Payton Igo. I help faith-driven business owners build high-powered marketing systems online. Systems that take people from never having heard of you to becoming a paying customer. It’s not overwhelming—it’s just a structured journey.

But a big part of what I do, beyond marketing systems, is getting my clients to ask this:

What’s the purpose of your business? What’s the purpose of your life?

Because here’s the truth I believe:
This life is temporary. This world—the physical reality we experience—isn’t all there is. There is a life to come.

The odds that we came from nothing and go to nothing? I believe that’s close to zero. I don’t buy the Big Bang. I don’t buy evolution. I believe in a sovereign God who made humanity in His image and loves us. He wants us to grow in our knowledge of Him.

And if that’s the truth, the real question becomes: What do we do with that?

What’s my role? What’s your role?

We all wear different hats. We’ve got jobs, businesses, families, responsibilities. But at the core of it all—if money was truly no issue—what would you be doing?

For me, it’s two things:
1. I’d be focused on the souls around me.
2. I’d help people store up treasures in heaven, not just here on Earth.

Because all the gold, the Bitcoin, the real estate—it all goes to zero against eternity.

So how are you investing your life, your energy, your God-given talents?

There’s a principle here: stewardship. You’re a steward of what you’ve been given. And if the goal isn’t to store up earthly treasures, then how do we store up heavenly ones?

I’ve thought deeply about that.

I believe souls are the only thing besides God that will last forever. Your soul. Mine. That’s what matters most. And so while I help people grow their business with marketing and sales—that’s not the end. That’s just the means.

Because what good is it if I help you make millions, but you never taste eternal life?

This message might not be popular. I know I risk turning off potential clients or employers. People get mad at the simplest things. I’ve gotten thumbs-down on videos where I say, “God loves you.”

But I’m not here to cater. I’m here to tell the truth.

You don’t have to punch someone’s mom to get a refund. You don’t need ridiculous guarantees. You need truth. You need honesty. You need transparency.

That’s what I’m about. That’s what my business is about.

And before I help anyone make another dollar, I want to help them get their soul right.

Get your soul right first.

Talk to God. Doesn’t matter if you believe or not. Ask Him: “If You’re real, show me. Save me. Help me.”

Because if you’re not right with God, nothing else matters. This life is going to pass away. But your soul? That lasts forever.

Faith isn’t easy. There’s tragedy. There’s suffering. But there’s also hope, truth, love, and peace. Real peace. The kind that doesn’t come from money.

So ask yourself again: If money wasn’t an issue, what would you do?

Would you live for eternity?

Business isn’t bad. It’s beautiful. It’s a tool. A vehicle. A way to serve, love, and glorify God. You don’t need to beat yourself up or live in a hole to please God. Just work faithfully, and rest faithfully.

Do good work. Serve people. Help them. And when you can meet their physical needs, you open a door to speak to their spiritual ones.

That’s why I love business. Because it can be ministry.

My prayer is that you would live with eternal intention. That you’d focus on the things that actually matter. That you’d glorify God with your gifts.

And if you want to talk business—if you want help building systems that grow your business, I'm here.

But more than anything, get your soul right.

Because when you’re standing before God one day, it won’t matter how much money you made.

It’ll matter what you did with what He gave you.

So let’s live like eternity is real.
Let’s build like we’re storing up treasures in heaven.
Let’s work—and rest—with purpose.

Because the goal isn't just more money.

The goal is more meaning.

To your true purpose,
Payton Igo
